Frequently asked questions

Contact us
Do I need prior art or design experience?
No. Our beginner track assumes no prior training and focuses on fundamental layout, lettering drills, and basic color control before moving into projects.
Which materials should I buy first?
Start with archival cardstock, a waterproof fineliner, practice-grade watercolor paper, and a small set of pigments (cyan, magenta, yellow, black). We provide detailed material lists in each course.
Do courses include certificates?
Yes. You’ll receive a completion certificate highlighting the skills and outcomes you achieved. It’s evidence of consistent practice, not a guarantee of employment.
How is feedback provided?
Feedback follows our rubric: clarity, craft, and consistency. Instructors reference measurable criteria like edge control, spacing, and color accuracy.
Is the content accessible for screen readers?
Yes. We design our materials with semantic structure, captions, and transcripts. If you need specific accommodations, contact us.
What is the refund policy?
If a course does not match its published description and outcomes, contact support within 14 days for options outlined in our Terms.
How much time should I allocate weekly?
Most courses suggest 3–5 hours per week. Project-heavy modules may require additional studio time for drying and finishing.
Can I use my work in a portfolio?
Absolutely. Courses are designed to produce portfolio-grade artifacts. We also include guidance for documenting and presenting your work.
Do you teach print production and file prep?
Yes. Our production modules cover color profiles, bleeds, spot colors, foil/emboss planning, and prepress checks so your files pass with confidence.
